We live where we work

James Caccia started with one truck in San Mateo in 1979. Three generations later, we’re still family-run, now with a bigger shop on Gilbreth Road in Burlingame.

We sponsor the local schools and youth teams because these are our neighborhoods. We see you at the grocery store, and that’s a pretty good reason to do the job right.

Is Caccia a family owned company?

Yes, and we know how rare that is these days! But after 47+ years, Caccia is still owned by… The Caccias!

We work in 23 cities across San Mateo, San Francisco and Santa Clara counties — Daly City down to Sunnyvale, out to Half Moon Bay. No trip charge anywhere in that area. Outside it, call and we’ll tell you whether we can get to you.

Most homes here take 2–4 days and you stay in the house. Water is off during working hours only, so you’ll have water in the mornings and evening.

Bigger houses in Hillsborough, Atherton or Woodside can run to five days or longer. We’ll provide a timeline once we assess your home.

 

No. You approve a flat price for the work before it begins and that’s what you pay. If we open a wall and find something genuinely outside that scope, we stop, show you, and price it before going further.

YYes, we pull permits. Repipes, panel upgrades, EV chargers, gas lines and water heater replacements all need one.

We handle the paperwork and meet the inspector. Permit time usually runs alongside scheduling, so it rarely adds days to the work itself.

Surprisingly often, yes! We keep tabs on the various rebates available in the Bay Area/Peninsula, as they are often at the city or county level.
